Osun State, one of the 36 states in Nigeria hosted sideline event at the ongoing COP29 in Baku , Azerbaijan focusing on a successful project on waste management among other climate policy and programme innovations already embarked upon by the state government.

The state delegation led by the state consultant on Climate Change and Renewable Energy, Prof Chinwe Obuaku also include the state Director of the deoartment of Climate Change and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Climate Change.
