Many states in Nigeria are waking up to the reality of climate change and its devastating effects on the socio economic lives of their people.

States from the north to the south are creating programmes and action plans to provide for interventions and projects.

Some of the states are actually creating polivy plan while others have hired consultants to develop adaptation projects.

Other states are setting up climate agencies to specifically create a one desk stop centre for actions on climate matters.
